Annual Show
June 16th 2013
Each year we hold one of the largest orchid shows to be seen in the North of England, in the wonderful surroundings of Historic Tatton Park Cheshire.
With many traders selling orchids and supported by other orchid societies, its not one to missed.

An extravaganza of orchids will take place - with Sales from Many orchid traders during the 16th of June 2013 at the North of England Orchid Society Annual Show In June 2013 The Tenants Hall will be bursting with orchids, there will be orchids for sale with displays from many leading traders and supported by several other orchid societies during this one day Orchid Show, for images from one of the earlier shows along with awarded orchids, see our annual show pages All visitors to Tatton Park will enjoy the Orchid Show as a FREE addition to a Great Day Out with free access to the many Orchid Society displays and orchid sales booths of the traders attending The North of England Orchid Society Annual Show, as is usual awards for the best orchids in their classes will be given once again this year; along with Best Species Best Hybrid in show and separate similar awards made to plants on our own stand. This one day orchid show takes place on the 16th of June, when Tenants Hall once again became the venue for our Annual Show, whilst entrance to this event is free, other charges for visiting Tatton Park may apply. Orchid nurseries and societies will gather together to bring to the North West of England one of the largest displays of orchids you could find. In addition to the various class awards, two perpetual challenge trophies will be given for the best species and best hybrid orchids. Not only will visitors admire the beauty of hundreds of orchids in full bloom, but they will also be able to buy from a selection of orchids for sale to suit all tastes and pockets, from a simple and inexpensive houseplant to those hard to find plants for the dedicated orchid grower, and lots of advice for beginners as well. This show is always held at Tatton Park the month before the RHS Flower show at Tatton, we have displayed at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show since its inception, winning several medals for our display of orchids; In 2011 we were again honoured to receive our 6th consecutive GOLD MEDAL click here to view the 2009 display or your can also click here to view the 2008 display
Did you know that orchids are the largest family of flowering plant life? There are over 30,000 different species, just a fraction of these was enough to fill the Tenants Hall Tatton Park with many massive displays of blooms for the enjoyment of those who visit us on the 16h June 2013 The Mansion House at Tatton Park
Our annual shows can be combined with a drive or walk through 1000 acres of lakes, avenues and Deer Park. Or a visit the House or a stroll through the many acres of lawns trees and quiet areas of reflection in the Gardens Visit the working farm, let the children enjoy the play area, and browse the speciality shops around the courtyard of Tatton Park all of this gives you a recipe for a wonderful and pleasant day out in the beautiful countryside of Cheshire. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, or take advantage of the tea shop and restaurant.
