With many traders selling orchids and supported by other orchid societies, its not one to missed.

For more details visit our special annual show pages.

Membership information and advantages

Membership of the Society is as involved or simple as you wish it to be, you don't have to do anything except enjoy our monthly meetings, if that's all you wish to do.

Membership costs £15.00 single, £20.00 double (for two people at the same address) or £7.50 junior and run from January each, year.

Often memberships are given as Birthday or Xmas presents, its something different, you have to admit!

  • The North of England Orchid Society meets every month, somewhere in the Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside areas, for full details of meetings  and venues please visit our show dates

  • You can always find helpful and friendly like minded people, willing to offer advice and assistance with placing your plants for judging should you wish to do so.

  • It is not necessary to participate in the judging side of things, you can simply enjoy the show, or perhaps buy another orchid at a good price from the orchid traders who attend.

  • Find that hard to get orchid compost, and get advice on how to pot up your orchid plant, buy sundries, or use our extensive library of orchid books.

  • Our news letters, which are sent out two or three times a year, perhaps more often if there is something we think would interest our members, will tell you what's happening in the society, and the orchid world in general.

  • Meet other members at our shows, or perhaps the Xmas Buffet etc., or if you want to get more interested, we are always looking for recruits for our show teams.

If you need more information, you can contact our Membership Secretary on 01942 810958.

You can join via ordinary mail using a cheque or on line with any credit card or PayPal simply take the links below to whichever option suits you best.
